It is suitable for dancers, creative artists, educators, counsellors, therapists, mental health and other practitioners. Its focus is the use of movement and related approaches in the healing of trauma, especially in cross-cultural settings. Culture, tradition and the strength of life experience are recognised. Scientific and research based theory will also be introduced. The workshop is highly experiential. We have received lots of expressions of interest about this workshop. Liberty SongsThis unique and very special performance at the Darwin Festival Sound Shell on August 28 is a collaboration between three indigenous singer/songwriters - Shellie Morris, Leah Flanagan, Lou Bennett - and women from Darwin's Liberian refugee community.  Surely a moving performance not to be missed!
