To raise the awareness of refugee-related issues, World Refugee Day events are held worldwide on 20 June each year.

Darwin's World Refugee Day event details are:

DATE: Saturday 20 June

TIME: 4:00pm - 8:00pm 

PLACE: Holzerland Park, Malak (opposite Malak Shopping Centre)

A free community event for anyone and everyone to attend!  

Open Information Nights are held at Melaleuca (Shop 33, Rapid Creek Business Village, Trower Road) from 5:30pm on the last Wednesday of each month and are a initiative of the community development team. The aim is to raise community awareness about refugee-related issues and provide an opportunity where information and experiences in relation to such issues can be shared and discussed.

Our web hosting service has had a server crash. Website entries from mid-February 2009 to the present have yet to be recovered. We apologise for the inconvenience and will seek to restore missing entries as soon as possible.

‘Black Gold – wake up and smell the coffee’ will be screened at the Groove Cafe FREE to the Darwin community on Wednesday May 13 at 7pm.
