poster4_green_smileVolunteers offer valuable support by covering different roles within Melaleuca Refugee Centre. Social Support Volunteers assist with the resettlement of new arrivals by introducing them to community events, helping out with getting around Darwin and sharing practical skills. Language support Volunteers help out with informal English language tutoring and conversational English. As an event volunteer you can be part of creating and conducting events like World Refugee Day, our community garden and local community events.
